Well it's a huge comfort to me to know that some things remain constant ... fart jokes and misunderstood crop circles, chemtrails and illusive members of the galactic federation ... ah ... somehow it feels like I've never been away ... but then I haven't of course ... with DC keeping me up to date this is still a very familiar place of course.
And thanks to all for your warm welcome back.
As for me, I guess we all reflect and mirror each other after all. These last 12 months have been a time of great change and personal reflection and therefore I assume that most of us will have been through our own version of events. Having taken a step back from the Forum, I have distanced myself from the immediacy of the input available here, which for me has been a constructive thing.
It has helped me to examine more closely my own relationship with the various aspects of spirituality we have all spoken about here. I wouldn't claim to have figured anything out or come to a point of revelation or catharsis ... but suffice to say that I have come to understand a sense of self-sufficiency and inner strength which is a combination of all the things I have learned and discussed both here on the Forum and in life generally. Aren't we all the sum of all that we have experienced thus far? All experience shapes and informs us of course and our own inner contentment is therefore the result of all those parts - both positive and negative.
As we all know, this life presents us with challenges and I believe it is a test of our own knowledge as to how we deal with those things, for good or bad. I do know that the energy and light we project in our daily lives directly affects others and by sharing that energy we are balancing on a greater scale of course.
I still have a strong (and I believe healthy) skepticism about some conspiracy theories but at the same time a great respect for those who have their sights firmly set on exposing the bullshit for the common good. Similarly my own approach to spirituality remains very much my own personal interpretation and while I take on board many ideas and theories expressed by others - I attempt to remain independent although of course accepting influences as I've already said.
Anyhow, enough of my ramblings for now. Thanks to my friends here for welcoming me back so warmly and I look forward to more fart jokes and bodily part references as normal service is resumed!
