yes, i have been reading that, along with other articles/books about psychic energy. i personally cannot project my energy to manipulate matter, but the subject itself has gained my interest quite a bit. call it addiction lol 
I just started skimming over the psion handbook tonight, and drew a connection. One of the catalysts of finding this site for me was a bit of matter manipulation per se, but it was mostly unconscious. One thing that I have realized in the recent etheric experiences that I've had is that there are methods involved and an intuitive approach has worked as far as connecting with that "type" of matter. In the aethers various methods were "employed" but each layer seemed to have a unique expression and way of merging with" it". At one point it seemed to require direct force and will. At another it was a passive acceptance, etc.
Much sensitivity and patience overall was required to "connect" with the "matter" and with many relationships there was a mutual acknowledgement that was present. Law of attraction came in to play quite a bit.
