ohh yeeeah! shoes are for babies ;^)
Or for geezers, lol. I went to the beach the other day, and although a very hot day, with the breeze coming off the water, it was very bearable. So I decided to get in my walk, and did about a 2.5 to 3 mile walk (doing a little beachcombing along the way). I got about half a mile from the car when it felt like sand, or something was building up on the bottom of my feet. I stopped and sat down by the edge of the water and washed my feet off and I had blisters building on the balls of both feet. I couldn't believe it. I used to do a little running in my younger days, on the beach, barefooted, and never got a blister one. This was very distressing to me. Maybe I just need to toughen my feet up again or something.
