These are two dreams from my dream diary...

(1/1)

Silver_Rapids:
Hello I'm new! How are you guys?  :wink2:

I've been to this site a few times, but I never signed up before. I'm at a point where I need people to chat with that actually understand some of my weirdness and won't brush it off. If that makes sense of course...lol
So I'm going to start with some dreams I need help understanding. I have like tons of odd and lucid dreams, but these were more physical in a sense.

1.) The first dream occur sometime earlier this year. It began with me being in a busy city and I was looking around at everyone going about their business. What stood out was the intense color I saw in everything. The depth, light, and shadow, it was as if everything was alive.
Cars were driving by and people were speeding by and I found out I couldn't move at all.
It had to be around late afternoon in the dream and everything had been bathed in light of a setting sun.
It was so bizarre everything was moving and I was the only thing still. I stared at the sun in the direction it was setting as if I was waiting for something. The sun fell behind a bill board and a mismatch landscape, that was when I saw the water coming.
It came so suddenly and swift that it just engulfed everything. I barely blinked before I knew everything was underwater.

I don't mean just the city, streets, or buildings I mean everything.
I could see clearly a whole city underwater trees, signs, cars, buildings....it was as if the sky had been swallowed, the whole world.
In the water I could breathe and I just floated watching everything and then something spectacular happened.
This humongous ball of light that resembled the sun fell/ descended in the water.
There was no splash or surface it just was there and falling.
Imagine your this tiny spec in this world of water. That's what I felt like this small thing in vastness.
This ball of light/sun was speeding through the water faster, then it looked.
I had to swim out of the way and when I tried looking at it, it nearly blinded me.
I had to cover my face and it was illuminating everything in it's path.
All of sudden I had a feeling I should find the surface. So I started swimming upwards and I swam for a while.
I wasn't tired or scared just wanting to reach what was above.
It was unreal to see myself cutting through the water (the dream cut from 1st person to 3rd person)
and then I thought I wanted to go faster.
Suddenly I did and I was a blur cutting through the water until I hit the surface.
When I hit the top I was hesitant and only revealed half of my face.
What I noticed when the water cleared was the it was really bright and sunny, but the quality was different.
The air was sweeter, the colors vivid and unreal in the sky, and I had no idea of the vastness of the water I was in.
In the far distance I saw land and something like a structure, but I never could see it clearly.
The water in my eyes got all shimmery and wouldn't clear.
That was the end of my dream.

So what do you guys think?

This dream felt ascending to me as if something has changed once again.
I didn't understand in some ways. It seemed as if the world below had been swallowed and I found a world above.
I've never been good at deciphering my dreams....When I was in my teens I use to have tons of water dreams so they have become a norm for me.

2.) This dream started while I was awake. It happens this way sometimes. I'm most vulnerable when I'm sleeping or about to sleep.
My brother was using my laptop and I was getting ready to take a nap. So my head was about to hit the pillow when suddenly I heard this faint laughter. It started small and got louder. It seemed like a child laughing, but he had this quality of tinkering and bells in his voice.
Then the laughter shifted when it was all I could hear and was a man's voice, but it was so enchanting.
I started laughing and couldn't stop, then I passed out. I vaguely saw my brother looking at me like I had lost it.  XD

Anyway I remember awaking on the ground and my butt hurt like I fell on it.
The place whatever it was was really shimmery and wavy like it wasn't quite solid.
I wasn't sure if I was in a cave or what from what I could kinda see, but after looking around I saw a figure in the distance.
He was tall and lithe, but had long dark hair. It blended in so well with his outfit that was bizarre and seamless; that it seemed it didn't really start or end anywhere. From what I could see his features was covered by hair, but I knew instinctively he wasn't the human variety.
So me being me I took the chicken route and tried to bolt.

The "man" had an unnatural stillness and presence about him that had me nervous.
Unfortunately before I could do a full turn he was in my face. I mean like inches from me staring with his alien eyes and sharp features.
I almost had a heart attack, because he was looking so impassive and cold.
Then all of a sudden he smiled and stepped back from me who had almost fallen...
He started laughing to himself and then grabbed something I had w/o being aware of it until then.
I never knew what it was, but I had a tug of war with this elf like man.
I swear he was far stronger then I was, but he was playing with me. Whatever it was I held on to it for dear life.
When I thought that he let go and I stumbled. He leaned back and forth smirking before laughing once again and I woke up.
With his voice in my ears....

Now I have a solid belief in spirits, the Sidhe, and well the otherworld crowd. This is for a very good reason they liked to mess with me and cause me an unbearable amount of insomnia. I figured being awake was far better, then sleeping. It was less disturbing...
What are some opinions on this? Trust me I'm open to any suggestions or thoughts, because I find the study of dreams fascinating.

Also thank you and sorry for such long posts.
