Very interesting. About 10 years ago I labeled one of my psychedelic free form music jams
goggle which stood for:
G race
O f
G od
G rowing
L arger
E xponentially
Watcha jamin with brahhhhh
What do you mean by that?
Ah, see I jam daily with friends.. we usually have drums, guitar, and bass available to play.... Also a bunch of percussion shit and a sax that my friend just got. Just wondered what you got goin' on, what type of jams you play? I'm just wondering what you are into... Me and my friend like to play metal/funk/jazz/rock.. and we make sure to make everything psychedelic.. I play drums mainly, I can also play guitar, bass as well as anything I can get my hands on and have a little practice with... Music definitely a major part of my life, I don't think I go for 30 minutes without having to turn on something...
I am just noticing that you answered this question. I am similar to you in a multi instrument context. I sing and play guitar mostly, but I play bass and whatever else as well. I do not consider myself a drummer on a set, but I play hand drums as well as stumble through the set. I write songs and record them, I've been singing, playing guitar bass, synth, and programming drums to my songs. My style varies greatly, I like to cover the bases. Singer acoustic guitar, to swirling vortexes of soundscape textural art rock, To straight up avante garde, typically very melodic. Right now I'm working on fusing electronic patterns with straight up melodic rock. I'm going to post some of the more polished experiments on youtube. I have a lot of stuff to re-do, but I would like to post some stuff that I still consider unfinished.
