I am actually cutting down on weed for now. I dont even know why, something it me just told me to stop for some time so i listened

It may be a few weeks till I get out of the military,        and the first thing I'm going to do is smoke some nice cannabis. Of course there will be munchies, music and movies involved.....any other M's? My friend is also separating and she mentioned the same thing..."the first thing I'm going to do is smoke a bowl".......my other buddy actually planned to drive home, all the way across the country and smoke an ounce of weed when he got out...although he smoked while he was in;) I have a few times, and there's nothing like going a year...or 4 without smoking and then lighting up again....it's almost as if you forget and then remember in some new amazing way    

I'll also be done with a two week fast at around the same time....and my body gets so sensitive that a sip of some green tea feels like I drank a pot of coffee. This is going to be, as us military folk like to say; stellar!

This stuff was incredibly good at first. But smoking daily and having such a high tolerance makes it suck. I've been smoking as much as possible these past few days.

Some of the common side effects of marijuana are:

Some people are not affected with these symptoms of marijuana, many are related with the person's health that smoked it, example, people who have a history of mental or health problems should be advised not to smoke or ingest it, unless it was proven that it would not affect his or hers behavior. First time smokers of marijuana should always use a small dose to see how it would effect their body or mind. This is a good way to see if marijuana is OK for you with the minimal side affects and dangers associated with smoking marijuana.

Marijuana causes physical side effects as well when used in large doses. Some can be cured with remedies that are fairly simple. Water or juice is very good in preventing dry mouth (cotton mouth). Sugar and fat free foods are also great in fixing that hunger you might encounter when smoking or ingesting marijuana. If there is a problem with headache or nausea, a warm bath would help. Things that should be avoided with smoking marijuana are, drinks that contain caffeine, fatty foods with allot of sugar, and excessive exercise.

Milder forms of the side effects can be controlled with practice and reminders from a friend with you at the time

Marijuana effects everyone differently, its just facts to educate those who don't know.

Reduced muscle strength? I can always lift more and for longer once I've smoked a fat bowl. Smoke a fat bowl before stretching works wonder's also. Smoking a fat bowl before going on a motorcycle ride enhances my excitement for it and makes for an overall more enjoyable and safer experience. All the times I've dumped my bike or crashed I've been stone cold sober. I seem to forget things and can't remember some times but I never forget any of my responsibilities or loved ones, I never forget anything vital or important.
I get paranoia and confusion but as I refuse to play the victim roll I've learned to step aside myself and recognize the destructive patterns such as paranoia and confusion, 'rise above the influence' of paranoia and confusion so to speak.
As far as the 'Neuropsychiatric Adverse Effects of Marijuana' go, everyone is different (but extremely the same) and I don't think addictive behavior is something pot promotes, it depends on the person and the person's circumstance.
Don't listen to 'studies' or 'doctors' and most certainly don't listen to me, listen to your head

i think often times people have a bias towards mind-altering substances. if you go into such a study with such a bias what do you think the results will be? if you are a healer than how do you heal someone who does not believe they can be healed through means other than magical pills? you can't?

They always amuse me. I surf ripped off my tits and have never had problems at all, coordination 100%, it actually increases pulmonary capacity as it is an expectorant, like the rastas I reckon it makes you smarter, chronological time dilator but universal time unifier, my dentist loves the cotton mouth,never get the munchies in fact it is great for when theres no food around takes the mind off being hungry. paranoia? rubbish, if it was legal any paranoia would dissolve over night. Fires me up doesnt make me tired.

Even though I don't consider myself a big smoker, I will attest to the broncho-dialation properties as well as "loosener" of the muscles. I've noticed that I can also give myself a chiropractic "adjustment" myself in one unified movement after smoking.

Studies are for those who need to ask their doctor what's right for them. Whether Dr. Rosenstein or Dr Feelgood, the validity of the title is still "manmade" and adhered to by one's own belief in the archetype.

It means that if you don't commit to suicide (to finish your life), ie you hesitate, when you finally work up the courage to 'go' (to kill yourself) you'll find you've already gone (ie you've already died inside, and this realisation makes it more painfull) , ie that its too late..

but i catch your drift, to the extent of it being a personal crop duster. to each their own! while i have found marijuana to be highly stimulating and expansive in some regards, for me personally, i have equally found it to be in some ways a limiting factor.

For me it helps.  For others it hinders.  As a musician it is an invaluable tool to me for creative expression and focus.  Not a crutch, a tool.  Spiritually it has helped achieve states that otherwise would take me much longer if I were "sober".   I have not suffered an ill side effect such as paranoia or uncontrolled urges to commit suicide and take out school buses full of nuns and children.   Just as some folks are lactose intolerant, not everyone will benefit from MJ. 

Then it becomes a matter of "well I had a bad experience, so I guess everyone does, so its bad for everyone".  That's an astounding Ego at work there.  Some people eat nails and make a damn good living at it.  That doesn't mean I'm gonna go buy a nail gun anytime soon...

I have been working with this for a while now; it's a tricky thing to realize whether or not weed is beneficial for raising consciousness. I've smoked with a bong, vaporizer, joints...ect, ect....at different times of the day, after/before workouts, several times a day, eating healthy and like shit....lots of variations to see if it helps or hinders my evolution.

Personally I find exercise, good nutrition, nature, creative expression, humor, art, music and meditation among other things can all help dissolve the ego and raise consciousness. Weed seems to quiet the mind for a short while, makes me lethargic (I never want to work out when high) and gives me munchies. Shortly after I smoke and feel relief from a chatty mind, the polarity shifts and the up becomes a down. The pleasure pain principle....that which exists in the realm of opposites is false and pleasure leads to pain. I don't believe I've ever felt deep joy, love or compassion from smoking or alcohol and  the only plants that really connected me to great truth and depth has been ayahuasca....salvia too...although it's a very alien teacher. Mushrooms I have yet to try.

I read that someone heard Eckhart Tolle say that Weed and alcohol put people in a vegetative state, and I'm not sure if that is true, but it certainly feels that way when I'm high. A shaman who I worked with for a few months also thinks poorly of it, however he is somewhat of an alcoholic. For me the short stillness that I initially get from it wears quickly off and I end up following lower, impulsive patterns within myself or...if I smoke a lot I just sit there in a coma. I have known deep down for a while that it was slowing my evolution, but I didn't want to admit it and so I looked for proof everywhere that it was good. I'm sure it has it's medicinal place, but everyone has to decide for themselves.

Interesting post... The reason why I like my vaporiser so much is bacause of the effect, less lethargy more energy and creative inspiration. Funnny what you experience with Herb and mind chatter, I often have Ganja increase the frequency of my brain, increasing the mind chatter though narrowing(focusing rather) the "bandwith" (3 points of focus instead of 5). It's like a lensing of my conscionsness for me. If I'm in a lazy mood and vape, sure I might get more lazy xD.
This afternoon however (after getting up late) I spent most of my time vaped up doing stuff in the garden, not so unproductive now eh?  ^_^
Oh well, truly to each his/her own(and don't even get me started on different effects of certain strains xD).

The Hemp Oil won't get you high, since the extraction process removes those isomers, leaving only the ones which activate the immune system. Something I've been discussing with my friend in Colorado who runs the Phoenix Tears Research Foundation, is the possibility of using the Hemp Oil in massage, (use those rubber gloves, please!), on people with skin cancer. I figure that the skin absorption would get the stuff right where it is needed very fast

I should also point out that there is a huge difference between Cannabis Sativa, and Cannabis Indica. Both are healers, and both can get you high, but they do it in different ways, and are more appropriate for different people... depending...

Indica will simply knock you out, and some people find that Indica will cause rapid metabolism of water in muscles, leading them to get very tight, very fast. If you experience that with Indica, don't smoke it, since it isn't meant for you

Sativa, on the other hand, will get you high without knocking you out. I call it the Wake Up high : you're stoned, but you will find all kinds of ideas going through your head, and it might be a good idea to take notes

Lol!? I beg to differ(Dosage is really a big factor though with sublingual use.). People have been using Hash oil (hemp oil is made from the seed) to get high for a very long long time.
There is this guy over here(several actually lol) that is very experienced with the medicinal use of Hash oil nad gives it away to alot of people in need they also are in contact with Rick.
THC will melt skin cancer away for sure, as it will do most other skin ailments.

I've always felt the cold water extraction method for both hash oil and hemp oil to be desirable over alcohol IMO. The more pure the better
