Speaking of DNA upgrades, have been pondering this a bit, this maybe off topic but overall nothings off topic I guess. Some months back there was a post about scientists trying to figure out what the junk DNA is for. If you remember there were // equivalents at the start and end of junk codes, when the // were turned off, cancer ensued in the models. Now depending on what u interpret cancer as, this may be a good thing. Cancer is essentially immortal,it is only the demise of the host that eventually kills the cancer. If the // are turned off during the DNA upgrade and the whole organism becomes "cancerous", it could well be synergistic cancer that makes the whole organism immortal. Just a thought.
