Something strange is happening in the forests of Africa. Chimpanzees are doing things no one has seen them do before: they are having pool parties. But that's not all. At a site called Fongoli, in Senegal, they have also invented a remarkable way to catch a meal. They are making spears and hunting, just like our ancestors.

Speaking of DNA upgrades, have been pondering this a bit, this maybe off topic but overall nothings off topic I guess. Some months back there was a post about scientists trying to figure out what the junk DNA is for. If you remember there were // equivalents at the start and end of junk codes, when the   // were turned off, cancer ensued in the models. Now depending on what u interpret cancer as, this may be a good thing. Cancer is essentially immortal,it is only the demise of the host that eventually kills the cancer. If the // are turned off during the DNA upgrade and the whole organism becomes "cancerous", it could well be synergistic cancer that makes the whole organism immortal. Just a thought.

My dad told me they found the most complete ancient primate skeleton that they may think is the missing link...
Personally I don't care much for this report because I know it's going to be twisted and turned around many different ways by 'scientists'... don't think we'll ever know the full story

Have you looked at Michael Cremo's work?

He dates intelligent 'hominid' presence, due to the geological evidence, back at least as far as 2 billion years ago! :o

It's a well known fact that Chimp's are very adaptable and learn fast as tests have shown  :o
I wonder will they find a thing a me gig in the forest touch it an evolve into an other class of Ape ::)

I Have read the article and it brings me back to when i was in Art collage, everybody was talking about this movie! i even designed a boutique and made it look like something out of the film, good day's indeed, iv seen the movie about 7 times ::)
