The Milky Way
(a translation of the Latin Via Lactea, in turn derived from the Greek
Γαλαξίας
(Galaxias) sometimes
referred to simply as "the Galaxy"), is a barred spiral galaxy that is
part of the Local Group of galaxies. Although the Milky Way is one of
billions of galaxies in the observable universe,[4] the Galaxy has
special significance to humanity as it is the home galaxy of the planet
Earth. The plane of the Milky Way
galaxy is visible from Earth as a band of light in the night sky, and
it is the appearance of this band of light which has inspired the name
for our galaxy.
Some sources hold that, strictly speaking, the term Milky Way should
refer exclusively to the observation of the band of light, while the
full name Milky Way Galaxy,
or alternatively the Galaxy should be used to describe our galaxy as an
astrophysical whole. It is unclear how widespread the usage
of
this convention is, however, and the term Milky Way is routinely used
in either context.
View
from Earth
The Milky
Way galaxy,
as viewed from the Earth, itself situated on one of the spiral arms of
the galaxy (see Sun's location), appears as a hazy band of white light
in the night sky arching across the entire celestial sphere originating
from stars and other material which lie within the galactic
plane.
The Milky Way looks brightest in the direction of the constellation of
Sagittarius, toward the galactic center. Relative to the celestial
equator, it passes as far north as the constellation of Cassiopeia and
as far south as the constellation of Crux, indicating the high
inclination of Earth's equatorial plane and the plane of the ecliptic
relative to the galactic plane. The fact that the Milky Way divides the
night sky into two roughly equal hemispheres indicates that our Solar
System lies close to the galactic plane. The Milky Way has a relatively
low surface brightness, making it difficult to see from any urban or
suburban location suffering from light pollution.

Size
The stellar disk of the Milky Way galaxy
is approximately 100,000 light years in diameter, and is believed to
be, on average, about 1,000 light years thick. It is estimated to
contain at least 200 billion stars and possibly up to 400 billion
stars,[10] the exact figure depending on the number of very low-mass
stars, which is highly uncertain. Extending beyond the stellar disk is
a much thicker disk of gas. Recent observations indicate that the
gaseous disk of the Milky Way has a thickness of around 12,000 light
years - twice the previously accepted value. As a guide to the relative
physical scale of the Milky Way, if it were reduced to 130 km (80 mi)
in diameter, the Solar System would be a mere 2 mm (0.08 inches) in
width.
The Galactic Halo extends outward, but is limited in size by the orbits
of the two Milky Way satellites, the Large and the Small Magellanic
Clouds, whose perigalacticon is at ~180,000 light-years.

Milky Way as seen from Death Valley, 2007. This is a panoramic picture.
Age
It is extremely difficult to define the age at which the Milky Way
formed, but the age of the oldest star in the Galaxy yet discovered is
estimated to be about 13.2 billion years, nearly as old as the Universe
itself.
This estimate is based on research done in by a team of astronomers in
2004 using the UV-Visual Echelle Spectrograph of the Very Large
Telescope to measure, for the first time, the beryllium content of two
stars in globular cluster NGC 6397. From this research, the
elapsed time between the rise of the first generation of stars in the
entire Galaxy and the first generation of stars in the cluster was
deduced to be 200 million to 300 million years. By including the
estimated age of the stars in the globular cluster (13.4 ±
0.8
billion years), they estimated the age of the oldest stars in the Milky Way
at 13.6 ± 0.8 billion years. Based upon this emerging
science,
the Galactic thin disk is estimated to have been formed between 6.5 and
10.1 billion years ago.

Composition
and structure
NGC 7331 is often referred to as "the Milky Way's twin." This
is
what observers from another galaxy might see when looking at our own.
IC 342 is another galaxy that may resemble the Milky Way.Observations
by the Spitzer Space Telescope in 2005 confirmed the nature of the
Milky Way as a barred spiral galaxy. The Galaxy consists of a
bar-shaped core region surrounded by a disk of gas, dust and stars
forming four distinct arm structures spiralling outward in a
logarithmic spiral shape. The mass distribution within the Galaxy
closely resembles the Sbc Hubble classification, which is a spiral
galaxy with relatively loosely-wound arms. Astronomers in the
1980s first began to suspect that the Milky Way is a barred spiral
galaxy rather than an ordinary spiral galaxy and their suspicions were
confirmed by the Spitzer Space Telescope observations in 2005 which
showed the Galaxy's central bar to be larger than previously suspected.
As of 2006, the Milky Way's mass is thought
to be about 5.8×1011 M☉ comprising 200 to 400 billion stars.
Its
integrated absolute visual magnitude has been estimated to be
−20.9. Most of the mass of the Galaxy is thought to be dark
matter, forming a dark matter halo of an estimated 600–3000
billion solar masses (M☉) which is spread out relatively evenly.

Galactic
Center
The galactic disc, which bulges outward at the galactic
center, has a
diameter of between 70,000 and 100,000 light-years. The distance from
the Sun to the galactic center is now estimated at 26,000 ±
1400
light-years, while older estimates could put the Sun as far as 35,000
light-years from the central bulge.
The galactic center harbors a compact object of very large mass (named
Sagittarius A*), strongly suspected to be a supermassive black hole.
Most galaxies are believed to have a supermassive black hole at their
center.
The Galaxy's bar is thought to be about 27,000 light-years long,
running through its center at a 44 ± 10 degree angle to the
line
between the Sun and the center of the Galaxy.
It is composed primarily
of red stars, believed to be ancient. The bar is surrounded
by a
ring called the "5-kpc ring" that contains a large fraction of the
molecular hydrogen present in the Galaxy, as well as most of the Milky
Way's star formation activity. Viewed from the Andromeda Galaxy, it
would be the brightest feature of our own galaxy.
An equinox in astronomy is that moment in time (not a whole day) when
the centre of the Sun can be observed to be directly above the Earth's
equator, occurring around March 20 and September 23 each year.
Solstices occur twice a year, when the tilt of the Earth's axis is
oriented directly towards or away from the Sun, causing the Sun to
appear to reach its northernmost and southernmost extremes. The name is
derived from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), because
at the solstices, the Sun stands still in declination; that is, its
apparent movement north or south comes to a standstill
There is either an equinox (autumn and spring) or a solstice (summer
and winter) on approximately the 21st day of the last month of every
quarter of the calendar year. On a day which has an equinox, the centre
of the Sun will spend a nearly equal amount of time above and below the
horizon at every location on Earth and night and day will be of nearly
the same length. The word equinox derives from the Latin words aequus
(equal) and nox (night).
Solar System
May Be
Sailing Sideways Through Milky Way
Our solar system is hurtling through space while angled nearly
perpendicular to the plane of the Milky Way, new
computer models
suggest.
"It's almost like we're sailing through the galaxy sideways," said
study team leader Merav Opher, an astrophysicist at George Mason
University in Virginia.
The findings, detailed in the May 11 issue of the journal Science,
suggest the magneticfield
in the galactic environment surrounding our
solar system is pitched at a sharp angle and not oriented parallel to
the plane of the Milky Way as previously thought.
The
heliosphere
The clue to the angle was found in the heliosphere, the charged
cocoon-like shroud around the solar system which is created by the
Sun's solar wind, the stream of charged, low-energy particles it emits.
As our Sun and its planets travel through space, interstellar gases
press against the heliosphere, stretching this steady cosmic gale
lengthwise into a bullet shape that stretches far past Pluto.
Data recently received from the Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft reveal the
heliosphere's shape is deformed in another way: The northern hemisphere
bulges outward, while the southern hemisphere is pressed inward.
Using computer simulations, Opher and her team concluded that this
asymmetry is best explained if the local galactic magnetic field,
located just outside our solar system, is angled some 60 to 90 degrees
to the plane of the Milky Way.
The galactic magneticfield
influences the orientation of the solar
system's heliosphere, causing it to incline at a sharp angle, Opher
said.
An analogy is a bullet hurtling through the air with its nose turned
toward the ground.
"If you assume that you have a magnetic field in the plane of the galaxy, you get the wrong distortion," Opher told SPACE.com.
The new study is the first to look at the local galactic magnetic field, Opher said.
Previous research involved measuring the galactic field over massive
distances, more than a thousand times the scale of the heliosphere.
"It's like instead of measuring continents, you're measuring
countries," Opher said.
Turbulence
The source of our galaxy's
magnetic field is a mystery. The most accepted idea, Opher said, is
that the large cloud of interstellar dust and gas from which our galaxy
formed had a magnetic field, and that the field got squished when
the cloud collapsed into a disk to form the Milky Way.
"But you can also ask, 'What formed the magnetic field of this cloud?'" Opher said.
Randy Jokipii, an astrophysicist at the University of Arizona who was
not involved in the new study, suggests in an accompanying Science
article that the findings of Opher's team can be explained if the
galactic magnetic field is thought of as a turbulent fluid.
Turbulence is a phenomenon whereby a fluid breaks down randomly into
eddies and no longer flows smoothly, like creamer poured into a cup of
coffee.
Opher says the idea of a turbulent galactic magnetic field is not new
to scientists.
"We've thought about it, but [our findings] indicate it might really
exist," she said.

Report Unprecedented Double Helix Nebula Near
Center of the Milky Way
By Stuart Wolpert
Astronomers report an unprecedented elongated double
helix nebula near the center of our Milky Way galaxy,
using observations from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The part of the
nebula the astronomers observed stretches 80 light years in length. The
research is published March 16 in the journal Nature.
The
double helix nebula. (The image uses false colors because the eye is
not sensitive to infrared light.) The spots are infrared-luminous
stars, mostly red giants and red supergiants. Many other stars are
present in this region, but are too dim to appear even in this
sensitive infrared image. September
29, 2007
"We see two intertwining strands wrapped around each other as in a DNA molecule,"
said Mark Morris, a UCLA professor of physics and astronomy, and lead
author. "Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic
realm. Most nebulae are either spiral galaxies full of stars or
formless amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas — space
weather. What we see indicates a high degree of order."
The double helix nebula is approximately 300 light years from the
enormous black hole at the center of the Milky Way. (The
Earth is more than 25,000 light years from the black hole at the
galactic center.)
The Spitzer Space Telescope, an infrared telescope, is imaging the sky
at unprecedented sensitivity and resolution; Spitzer's sensitivity and
spatial resolution were required to see the double helix
nebula clearly.
"We know the
galactic center has a strong magnetic
field
that is highly ordered and that the magnetic field lines are oriented
perpendicular to the plane of the galaxy," Morris said. "If you take
these magnetic field lines and twist them at their base, that sends
what is called a torsional wave up the magnetic field lines.
"You can regard these magnetic field lines as akin to a taut rubber
band," Morris added. "If you twist one end, the twist will travel up
the rubber band."
Offering another analogy, he said the wave is like what you see if you
take a long loose rope attached at its far end, throw a loop, and watch
the loop travel down the rope.
"That's what is being sent down the magnetic field lines of
our galaxy,"
Morris said. "We see this twisting torsional wave propagating out. We
don't see it move because it takes 100,000 years to move from where we
think it was launched to where we now see it, but it's moving fast
— about 1,000 kilometers per second — because the
magnetic
field is so strong at the galactic center — about 1,000 times
stronger than where we are in the galaxy's suburbs."
A strong, large-scale magnetic field can affect the galactic orbits of
molecular clouds by exerting a drag on them. It can inhibit star
formation, and can guide a wind of cosmic rays away from the central
region; understanding this strong magnetic field is important for
understanding quasars and violent phenomena in a galactic nucleus.
Morris will continue to probe the magnetic field at the galactic center
in future research.
This magnetic field is strong enough to cause activity that does not
occur elsewhere in the galaxy; the magnetic energy near the galactic
center is capable of altering the activity of our galactic nucleus and
by analogy the nuclei of many galaxies, including quasars, which are
among the most luminous objects in the universe. All galaxies that have
a well-concentrated galactic center may also have a strong
magnetic field at their center, Morris said, but so far, ours
is the only galaxy where the view is good enough to study it.
Morris has argued for many years that the magnetic field at the
galactic center is extremely strong; the research published in Nature
strongly supports that view.
The magnetic field at the galactic center, though 1,000 times weaker
than the magnetic field on the sun, occupies such a large volume that
it has vastly more energy than the magnetic field on the sun. It has
the energy equivalent of 1,000 supernovae.
What launches the wave, twisting the magnetic field lines near the center
of the Milky Way? Morris thinks the answer is not the
monstrous black hole at the galactic center, at least not directly.
Orbiting the black hole like the rings of Saturn, several light years
away, is a massive disk of gas called the circumnuclear disk; Morris
hypothesizes that the magnetic field lines are anchored in this disk.
The disk orbits the black hole approximately once every 10,000 years.
"Once every 10,000 years is exactly what we need to explain the
twisting of the magnetic field lines that we see in the double
helix nebula," Morris said.
Co-authors on the Nature paper are Keven Uchida, a former UCLA graduate
student and former member of Cornell University's Center for
Radiophysics and Space Research; and Tuan Do, a UCLA astronomy graduate
student. Morris and his UCLA colleagues study the galactic center at
all wavelengths.

In 2 years, Pluto will still be close to the winter solstice degree of
zero Capricorn, Pluto will be squared off by Uranus at 1 degree of
Aries and Saturn at 1 degree of Libra at the equinox points.
This is very very powerfull stuff and this confirguration at the Spring
Equinox is the spring board if you will of further revalations and
revolutions to come.
Configurations such as these have not occurred since the 1960's when
Pluto conjoined with Uranus in Virgo opposite Saturn in Pisces. These
outer planets create Generational influences and have very large and
long lasting influences.
What was seeded in the '60's Love Generation will be impelled to act in 2010.
I believe Barbara Hand Clowe mentioned in her book, "The Mayan Code"
something along these lines, adding that 2012 will make the '60's look
smalltime in comparison.
I'm definitely looking forward to this!!! I wonder if the ones who are scared and hoarding food will miss out on this alignment?
A
Once in a Lifetime Event:
Time, Mythology and Paradigm Shifts
Back
last year, as I was doing research on
a very different subject, or so I thought, I came across an account of
an
expedition to Africa in 1882 to scientifically
record the rare Venus transit of the sun.
The head of that expedition was the famous astronomer, Antoine
D’Abbadie, soon
to become the President of the Royal Academy of France and perhaps the
person
responsible for the mysterious Hendaye Cross, so we might suppose that
accurately tracking and timing the event was of the utmost importance,
and not
just to the scientific community. It was curious that someone connected
to a
mysterious monument, one that marked the time period of 1992 through 2012
as
the season of catastrophe, should also be involved with an astronomical
event
that points to the same time period.
Every
122 or so years, the orbit of the planet Venus
falls such that twice, eight years apart, Venus passes between our
viewpoint on
earth and the face of the sun. Precisely observing this event in 1882
allowed
the astronomers to accurately forecast the next such pair of transits,
in the
summers of 2004 and 2012. And the first of those
events, something that
will be
completely unique to those alive at just this moment,
happened on June 8th, 2004.
The
second transit will be in the
summer of 2012, roughly six months away
from the end date of the Mayan
calendar
and the helical alignment of galactic center. This once in a lifetime
event,
synchronizing with so many other cosmic alignments and portents, gives
us a
kind of certainty concerning the singular significance of our time.
Venus and
the Tsunami
Connection
Transits of Venus are among the rarest
of predictable astronomical phenomena and currently occur in a pattern
that repeats every 243 years, with pairs of transits eight years apart
separated by long gaps of 121.5 years and 105.5 years. Before 2004, the
last pair of transits were in December 1874 and December 1882. The
first of a pair of transits of Venus in the beginning of the 21st
century took place on June 8, 2004 and the
next will be on June 6, 2012. After 2012,
the next transits of Venus will be in December 2117 and December
2125.
Pavel
Smutney is a PlanetX
researcher from Slovakia. He has proposed that
the alignment of the planets, particularly the conjunction of Venus and
the Sun, has a stronger effect on the Earth's environment than
previously suspected. He has looked at the rather rare Venus
transits and thinks he has found a correlation with major
seismic/volcanic activity. There appears to be a 6 month
interlude between the Venus transit and major earthquakes, volcanoes
and/or tsunamis.
Venus transits are rare, and tend to come in
pairs. The current pair occur during 2004 and 2012.
The previous pair occurred back in 1874 and 1882, then 1761 and 1769,
and so on back through history. Venus is our nearest
neighbour, and during this transit, or conjunction with the Sun, is
only about 26 million miles away from the Earth. I present here an
edited version of Pavel's explanation of his theory:
"The
earthquake that occurred on 12/26/2004 had very close ties
with Venus transit on 6/8/2004. The Earth, Venus and the Sun
were on one line, and furthermore this line pointed toward
constellations Taurus ,Orion, Gemini, where the main gravitational tug
from space, closest stars, and nebulas comes from.
"The Earth's axis is tilted toward those
constellations during the present era, and during that time there was
also grouped the inner planets. Additionally, the Moon was (end of
spring, beginning of summer) was in its highest position in the sky, so
its tidal forces were strongest. During the Indonesian earthquake and
tsunami Venus was again in the identical position 7 months before.
"There was similar catastrophe
on 8/26/1883, what happened Less than 9 months after Venus
transit from 12.6.1882, when Krakatoa volcano erupted, accompanied with
earthquakes, tsunami killing 10000 people died.
"Such similar super catastrophe had happened in 416A.D. Again,
according my calculations, within 1 year of a Venus transit!
"The
next transit will be 6.6. 2012. So what will happen then?
Venus: (Lamat Glyph, Venus), Chak Ek' was the astronomical object of
greatest interest, the Maya knew it better than any civilization
outside Mesoamerica. In Mayamyth,
Venus is the companion of the sun.
This no doubt reflects the fact that Venus is always close to the sun
in the sky, rising not long before sunrise as morning star
(Ah-Chicum-Ek') or after sunset as evening star (Lamat). They thought
it was more important than the Sun. They watched it carefully as it
moved through its stations, it takes 584 days for Venus and the Earth
to line up in their previous position as compared to the Sun. It takes
about 2922 days for the Earth, Venus, the Sun, and the stars to agree.
The Maya made daytime observations of Venus. Venus had a psychological
effect upon the Maya, it has been shown in the Dos Pilas staircase,
that the Maya were timing some of their wars based on the stationary
points of Venus and Jupiter, (The famous Star War between Tikal and Dos
Pilas, Naranjo and allies). Humans were sacrificed on first
appearance after Superior Conjunction when Venus was at its dimmest
magnitude but they most feared the first Heliacal Rising after Inferior
Conjunction. In the Dresden Codex, the Maya had an almanac that
displayed the full cycle of Venus. Venus cycles were the mean synodic
Venus year of 584 days and a "great cycle" of 37960 days (the lowest
common multiple of the Tzolkin, and the Venus year, equal to
104
calendar years or 2 calendar rounds). In Rio Azul's tomb 19
the
Lamat or Venus Glyph is beautifully painted.
A "star war" is a full-scale war planned in accordance with specific
astronomical events, usually the first appearance in the morning sky of
the planet Venus. The heliacal rising of the brilliant "star" in the
pre-dawn sky was considered by the Maya as a highly evil portent. As
such it was an appropriate herald of warfare, at least on the part of
the attacker.
Ancient cultures, especially the Sumerians, already possessed great
knowledge in astronomy, astrology, mathematics and geometry
some 5000
years ago. It is also well known that they observed and recorded the
synodic cycles of the Moon, Venus and some of the other planets. They
were able to predict the occurrence of eclipses for centuries ahead.
However, this required awareness about the so-called Saros cycle
– a knowledge that originated with the Sumerians. John N.
Harris,
an expert on Babylonian astronomy, is convinced that the Babylonians
and Sumerians not only observed and understood celestial mechanical
phenomena, but clearly knew how to compute the various synodic periods.
The Maya, for example, had a Venuscalendar
and were able to calculate
the phases of Venus, as well as its transits. But in order to
accomplish that, they had to know by how the much the node line of
Venus moves over a certain time period.
Nobody denies that the long term accuracy of the MayanCalendar is
about three times better than that of the modern Gregorian calendar. In
order to calculate the leap years, the Maya knew how to integrate the
numbers 13 and 20 into their calendar system. Supposedly they also had
a calendar of 260 days (13 x 20). What purpose did that serve?
For the observer (astronomer) on Earth there are only 3 important
crossings or nodes for orientation purposes: the equinoxes to determine
the tropical year, the Saros cycle for the lunar calendar and for
calculating solar and lunar eclipses, and the Venus node line to
determine the phases and transits of Venus. It seems that a 260
day-calendar makes little sense, because without a proper reference
point it leads into total chaos.
Just as we have the Decimal and the Binary system, the Maya had a
numeral system based on the number 20. This leads us back 4862 years
(20 × 243 + 8 - 6) to the possible beginning of the calendar
of
the Maya, or rather the one of their ancestors.
During that period the node line of Venus was approx. 44.47°
distant from the Galactic Center, and the upper transit of Venus
occurred on the 22nd of April.
And since the next Venus transit will be on June 6, 2012,
twenty
251-year Venus cycles occurred since 2856 BC. Except for these two
events - the alignment with the galactic center and the Venus transit,
which depends upon the synchronous node line movement – there
is
no other significant celestial phenomenon occurring in the year 2012.
The fact is, as we shall see later, that the synodic motion is 32.88"
annually. The movement of the Venus node line is in the opposite
direction and according to NASA data the rate happens to be
32.44” per year. This implies that an isolated or central
transit
occurred about 9000 years* ago. And based on the same data, regular
transit pairs occurred again for the first time roughly 7600 years
later, after May 22, 554 AD.
*(32.88" minus 32.44" = 0.44"; 32.88 ÷" 0.44" ÷ 2
× 243 years = 9079 years)
How ironic: The Maya and their predecessors could not have known
anything about transit pairs, and thus they could at best have been
aware about a 243-year cycle (2004). Yet they were able to predict the
transit of the June 6th 2012, the end of the 20
× 251 cycle.
As
they lived before Hipparchus they did not know anything about the
Precession of the Equinox, or did they? Evidently, they realized that
the node line of Venus migrates in sync with the synodic cycle, which
implies that transits always occur in pairs based on tropical time.
The Venus Transit has always preceded great breakthroughs in human
consciousness and played a very significant role in the MayanCalendar.
It is also a turning point in the Vedic tradition. According to the Indian avatar of
enlightenment,
Sri Kalki Bhagavan, the Venus Transit of 2004 will be
the actual starting point of the Golden Age, a process
that will come to an conclusion at the next Venus Transit in 2012.
Bhagavan
This article presents the significance of the Venus transit on June 8,
2004 in its larger context and in relation to the MayanCalendar. It is
also an invitation to take part of a global celebration of this event
called the Oneness Celebration.
What does Venus have to do with the plans of the Illuminati?
The
Maya's had a highly developed philosophy of the cosmos. They saw the
cosmos as the true mother of things. Consequently, the Maya's thought
the cosmos is all around us, and within us. Every plant, every animal,
every man is sheer Cosmos.
December21st2012 will be the day on which
this inner cosmos is
reconnected to the divine outer cosmos. The Sun will mount its unique
position toform a
`gateway' between the Universe and the souls of every living creature
on Earth. Our linear conception of time will crumble, and with it, fear
and hatred will vanish. It will be purification at it's very best, when
everyone is soaked in cosmic understanding and divine love.
On December21, 2012,
an
event will occur that only happens once every
26,000 years. It's called the "GalacticAlignment."
The
Galactic Alignment is the alignment of the December solstice sun with
the Galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the
precession of the equinoxes.
Precession is caused by
the earth wobbling very slowly on its axis and
shifts the position of the equinoxes and solstices one degree every
71.5 years. Because the sun is one-half of a degree wide, it will take
the December solstice sun 36 years to precess through the Galactic
equator.
Our
solar system is part of a huge disc shaped collection of stars and
planets called the Milky Way. We're located somewhere on the edge of
the disc, slightly on top of the narrow disc. But very soon we'll be
moving to the bottom of the disc. This change, from top to
bottom,
begins on December 21, 2012.

The
photon band is a quantum (smallest particle) of electromagnetic energy
with zero mass-no electrical charge and an indefinitely long life time.
This photon band was first discovered in 1961 by means of satellite
borne instruments. About every 26.000 years our Earth travels twice
through this higher frequency band, affecting the material world and
our consciousness. In 1987 our Earth entered for the first time again
in this band and every year she is moving in-and out with each year
staying longer in this higher frequency band, as our solar system is
travelling through this particular area within our Milky Way Galaxy. In
December 2012 , according to
Maya calculations, our sun and Earth will
be submerged within this band, without leaving again into the Galactic
night.

is the date when the Maya calendar ends and a new
world begins. Mayor
cycles are closing at the same time; one of 26.000 years, one of
104.000 years, and one of 225.000.000 years, giving birth to new
species and a new Heaven and Earth. In December 1998 our sun entered
for the first time again in this photonic band and has been prepared to
adjust to this higher frequency. All what is happening outside is also
happening inside of us. We are adjusting internally on a cellular level
to the external change which is experiencing our solar system, and
including our Earth.
Since May 1998, when the earth officially entered into the 1st vortex,
there is no turning back. Within the next twelve years, the earth will
be going through each one of the twelve vortexes of that Light with the
intensity that is required for Her purification and preparation for Her
ascension process into
the 5thdimension.
Since then, the various frequencies and intensity of the Light from the
Photon Belt are no longer released at intervals. They are now
bombarding the earth much more intensively and constantly. There are a
lot of adjustments to be made in this vortex before we can move to the
next one. All of humanity, in one form or the other, is feeling the
effects of the new energy of this deep cleansing. Every person on Earth
is going to have to do whatever it takes to adjust their consciousness
and make the necessary changes within themselves to be able to move
with and be transformed by that Light.
There is no turning back at this point. You are going to have to decide
for yourself now if you want to ride the ascension
wave with the
planet, be transformed into the new species of humans that will emerge
from this transformation, gain your immortality and ascend into the consciousness
of the New Earth on the 5thdimensionallevel, or be
crushed by the wave and stay on the 3rddimension for another round
of incarnations.
The choice is entirely yours. The opportunity is for all.
Those who resist that Light and the many changes It will bring, will
not be able to make it through the twelve vortexes. We know that many
will choose at soul level and/or at the conscious level to leave or
vacate their physical bodies rather than let go of their fears,
preconceived ideologies and personal agendas that are not serving the
greatest good of all rather than lovingly allow themselves to go
through the necessary steps of this transformation. There are also
those who would be ready to come along for the ride, but because of
their age, will be choosing to make the transformation from the "other
side" of the veil. For those precious ones, this option is totally
acceptable, and we ask you not to worry for those loved ones and allow
them that choice.
Many of you are already feeling and noticing in your physical and your
emotional bodies the effects that are taking place at the cellular and
genetic levels. Many of you are experiencing new, unpleasant physicalsymptoms you never had before,
such as, headaches, heart pains,
palpitations, chronic fatigue, dizziness, nausea, changing sleep
patterns, ringing in the ears, blurring of the vision, and many more.
You are also noticing changes in your emotional state. Your bodies are
evolving and cleansing themselves. All outmoded, worn-out negative
emotions and ways of thinking and perceiving things are coming to the
surface to be examined, purified and transformed. Many of you are
emotionally confused, and many of you feel you are "sick". I tell you,
this is only temporary. Just hang in there and remain into the
frequency of "Love" for yourself and others. It will come to pass.
note: this is a letter to researcher and author John Anthony West who
said the Pacal / Moon image resemblance is certainly remarkable, his
reply to the letter was, "now this is VERY interesting. "
There is an extensive Glyph text below the Palace House Tablet where
this image derives. No definitive translation has been published yet
but the words FACE and Jewell/Moon are present in the glyph text. Pacal
was not associated with the Moon at all until I found this relationship
in 2004 using other images of the lunar formation and an artists
rendition of Pacal's image to demonstrate the connection. John Hoopes,
Univ. of Kansas who did the former rendition suggested to me in Aug. or
Sept of 06 that the Lunar Eclipse would have significant meaning to the
Maya as the Moon turned a Blood Red color. He proffered that there
might be a connection in the glyph text with dates coinciding with a
lunar eclipse in Pacal's time. DR. Coe wrote me in Dec. 07 that the
sculptor's at Palenque may have used the Lunar Formation as a template
to create Pacal's image on the Palace House Tablet, likely with Pacal's
approval. A sort of personality cult and a confirmation of his becoming
a GOD by right of his Visage on the Moon.
The image of Pacal can be viewed from 1st qtr. Moon to early Wane of
the Full Moon, approximatly one third of every month. My intent with
the eclipse image was for a rather more dramatic effect vs. a black and
white lunar image or the Moon in daylight that also reveals the Pacal
formation, see attachment titled erace. DR. Coe also commented to me
that "I will never look at the Moon again without thinking of Pacal"
I liken this image to the cover art of one of your books that depicts a
gold Egyptian medallion(?) that appears to me to be a rather accurate
rendering of the African Continent. The premise of my hypothesis is
that Pacal's Headdress, a very important factor in Mayan iconography is
an almost map-like copy of the Lunar Formation, note the inverted V at
the tip of the Headdress, the crown-like roundels at the top, the
trailing flora at the back, even the chin strap or ear-tubes are
present in the Buddah-like image on the tablet and on the Moon.
As you have often written regarding your own and DR. Schoch's and
Graham Hancock's views on Egyptian and other ancient civilization's,
the academic establishment is reluctant at best to even consider much
less accept any new interpretation contrary to doctrine. I've noticed a
thaw in attitude since DR. Coe has said that the Lunar image of Pacal
is just "too striking to be due to chance". DR. Manuel Aguillar, a
Mayan art authority affirmed to me that the Cenote's (sinkholes) of the
Yucatan would act as a low level magnifier of overhead celestial
objects. That in conjunction with other know astronomical devices as
well as the widespread Mayan use of psychotropic plant compounds may
well explain this raising of the bar in Mayan Astronomy.
Among the most intriguing thing about Pacal's image on the Moon is that
once one memorizes the Pacal image on the Moon, it rather jumps out
quite obviously when viewing any photo of the Moon. It is a permanent
and also the Darkest area of the Moon visible, not a trick of shadow.
As I wrote DR. Mary Miller, it would seem anathema to all that is known
of Mayan astronomy that this Lunar phenomenon was overlooked and not
recorded by the Maya. To me it is a form of Visual Magic that can be
seen anywhere on Earth and yet missed until now.
